Local nomad is a mobile artist collective committed to creating environments where expression of ideas and experimentation can happen with freedom and confidence. Local Nomad workshops are unique and exciting, offering creative learning with a modern twist. Using their own work as inspiration Local Nomad artists Amy Pitt and Lottie Hughes are passionate about free choice and promoting imagination through sculpture, photography and installation. Both artists work with sculpture and photography, they explore the world we live in as an integral part of their making and the growth of their ideas.
Amy is originally from the heart of the West Midlands and Lottie from the hills of Yorkshire. Having studied and lived in London for the last four years they have been in touch with the growing contemporary art world, and feel they want to share these experiences with children and people in London and outside of London.
Working with an open mind, a huge range of ideas, materials and locations our aim is to spread freedom of creativity and learning through experience.
